ABOUT THIS DATA

This dashboard shows anonymised EHCP timeliness metrics derived from families using Aubis to manage their cases. No personal data is processed or published at any stage.

What we measure - Sample size: Number of statutory timeline events with a due date in the window - On‑time rate: Completed on or before the due date - Breach rate: Completed after the due date or overdue at the time of calculation - Median delay: The median number of late days (breached cases only)

How we protect privacy - No PII is collected or published (no names, emails, schools, free text) - LA‑level aggregates only; no cohort or individual breakdowns - Publication threshold: Only councils with sample size ≥ 25 appear

Window and cadence - Rolling 90‑day window (Beta) - Recalculated nightly at 02:00 (UTC) - Weekly CSV files are archived for public download

Selection bias and interpretation Families who use Aubis typically needed support navigating the EHCP process. These data are therefore not representative of all EHCP applications. LA‑to‑LA comparisons are valid within this population. Comparisons to national DfE statistics are not appropriate due to different populations.

Scope (Beta) - Timeliness metrics only (on‑time, breach, median delay) - Silent collection of advanced events (e.g. complaints, tribunal) for future releases

Tone and responsibilities - Neutral, factual presentation as per GOV.UK style - No legal interpretation or advice - “Source: Aubis Data (aubis.uk/data)” for attribution

Questions or corrections If you have questions about methodology or wish to report an issue, please contact Aubis. We will correct genuine errors transparently in the next nightly update.
