DLA FAQ
Frequently asked questions about the Aubis DLA Writer for child DLA applications.
Information only — not legal advice
What is Aubis DLA Writer?
Aubis DLA Writer guides you through every section of the child DLA form. It asks about daily life, captures the detail decision-makers need, and produces a draft in your voice — ready to copy into the form.
Is this legal advice?
No. Aubis DLA is informational — it helps you describe daily life in your words. We don't advise on entitlement or rates. Decision-makers decide the outcome.
Do you predict which rate I'll get?
No. Only decision-makers do that. We focus on clarity and completeness.
Why do you ask for specific numbers?
Decision-makers need to understand frequency, duration, and intensity. "Needs help with dressing" is vague. "45 minutes with constant prompting" is clear. Approximate is fine.
What about "without supports"?
The form asks what support would be needed without current aids, routines, or medication. We help you explain that — it's part of how decision-makers consider needs.
Can I link my EHCP and reports?
Yes. You can reference them neutrally (e.g., "as set out in her EHCP"). No legalistic citations required.
Does it work if I don't have an EHCP?
Yes. You can still describe daily life and reference any letters or notes you have.
Is my data private?
Yes. We follow AUBIS security standards. Your data is encrypted and never shared.
How much does it cost?
Free to start. One-time payment to export your draft.
What sections does it cover?
Care needs (day and night), mobility (indoors and outdoors, familiar and unfamiliar places), communication and understanding, personal care, and sleep.
What Aubis DLA doesn't do
We don't give advice or tell you what to claim. We don't predict rates or entitlement. We don't use strategic language. You describe daily life. Decision-makers decide the outcome. Aubis scribes. You decide.
