Data Deletion

Last updated: February 7, 2026

You can request deletion of your Aubis account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how.

How to Request Deletion

There are two ways to request deletion of your account and data:

  • In the app: Go to Settings, then Account, and select the option to delete your account. This will begin the deletion process immediately.
  • By email: Send a request to nikki@aubis.co.uk from the email address associated with your Aubis account. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.

What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account data: Your name, email address, authentication credentials, and account settings
  • Child workspace data: All child profiles, uploaded documents, timeline entries, case notes, and email records
  • AI processing records: Any records of AI analysis performed on your documents or emails
  • Billing records: Subscription and payment metadata (Stripe retains transaction records independently as required by financial regulations)

Timeframe

In-app deletion requests are processed within 24 hours. Email requests are processed within 7 working days.

Once deletion is complete, the data cannot be recovered.

Data We May Retain

In limited circumstances, we may retain certain data after account deletion where required by law:

  • Financial transaction records: As required by UK tax and accounting regulations
  • Security audit logs: Anonymised logs retained for a limited period for fraud prevention

Any retained data is anonymised where possible and held only for the minimum period required.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request erasure of your personal data. Our full privacy policy at aubis.co.uk/legal/privacy explains all of your data rights, including access, rectification, portability, and objection.
